Goal: Document the noun clause decisions you’ve made
Note: It might be the case that you’re documenting how your language handles them in other ways.
Tip: Make sure any new inflections or conjunctions are in your dictionary.
Work focus: Solidify/Write/Share
Today’s focus is documentation. You’ve been prompted to make a lot of decisions on noun clauses, specifically those that function as the object of a verb. Take the time to write up a section on noun clauses—or a section indicating how your language uses other strategies to communicate the same information (e.g. serial clauses without an embedded clause).
As you’re documenting your decisions, verify that all inflections, conjunctions, particles, or any other newly created unit have made it into your dictionary. Create entries for any new words/units that are missing from the dictionary.
